Support Emanuel Congregation

Become a New Emanuel Member

Membership dollars ensure that Emanuel is not only able to provide a meaningful High Holy Day season, but also continue to provide quality programming throughout the year. For those who want to join our community, all are welcome! Please visit our Membership page HERE. You may also reach out to us by phone, 773-561-5173, or email, info@emanuelcong.org and we will be happy to help you with the process.

Make a Donation to the Fund For Emanuel

As membership dues do not cover the full cost of serving our community, we look to our members, neighbors, friends and family to support the congregation with a donation to our Fund for Emanuel. The Fund for Emanuel helps support our growing youth group and teen programming, study groups, social justice initiatives, musical programming, holiday celebrations, building maintenance, and so much more. In short, it helps open our doors to all who seek richer, more meaningful lives.

Emanuel Congregation is your neighborhood congregation, wherever you live. Whether you are joining us this High Holy Day season for the first time or connect with us weekly, we are grateful you are here. Your contributions are greatly appreciated!

Tikkun Olam - Repair the World

Tikkun-Olam-Pic.jpg

Emanuel Congregation is working with the following organizations before and during the High Holy Days in an effort to help repair our world:

  • Care for Real - To help our neighbors in need this winter, we will be collecting items needed by Care for Real to help serve their clients this winter. More information to come.

  • Shalva - When you donate a used cell phone or iPad, Shalva sends them to a recycling company and then receives money to help fund their much needed services to women healing from abuse. If you have a used cell phone or iPad that you would like to donate to Shalva, please email info@emanuelcong.org to arrange a time drop it off at Emanuel. For more information about Shalva visit shalvaonline.org.

  • The Ark - Annual Food Drive. The Ark is collecting kosher, non-perishable foods to distribute to its clients for the High Holy Days and beyond. More information about The Ark's Annual High Holy Day Food Drive coming soon.

  • Mazon - A Jewish Response to Hunger. Click HERE to learn more about this organization.

Emanuel Congregation uses Mishkan HaNefesh, Machzor for the Days of Awe. Should you wish to purchase your own copy, they may be purchased from the publisher, CCAR Press, or they might also be available at Rosenblum's in Skokie, 773-262-1700.

Emanuel Congregation has some machzorim to loan to those who will be attending services in person. Large print versions are also available.
